Design of circularly polarized microstrip antenna with bandwidth broadening

摘要: 为了改善微带天线的带宽性能,提出了一种新颖的展宽圆极化微带天线带宽的设计方法.该方法使用同轴中心馈电方式并加载微带匹配段实现阻抗匹配,贴片四周加载四个连续旋转放置的开口谐振环,并在地板中心嵌入一个缺陷地结构,实现了微带天线阻抗带宽和轴比带宽的展宽.实验结果表明,阻抗带宽和轴比带宽分别提高了68.2%和56.6%.

Abstract: In order to improve the performance of the bandwidth of the microstrip antenna, a novel method for broadening bandwidth of the circularly polarized microstrip antenna is presented. Coaxial feeding loaded microstrip matching section is used to achieve impedance matching. The impedance and the axialratio bandwidths are improved by placing four sequentially rotated split-ring resonators around the patch of the antenna and embedding a defeated ground structure on the center of the ground plane. Experimental results show that the impedance and the axialratio bandwidths of the antenna are increased by 68.2% and 56.6%, respectively.
